Entries on the day will not be accepted.
All entrants are required to be members of the English Chess Federation (ECF) at Gold level or above. Note that this applies irrespective of the FIDE nationality of the player. Bronze or non-members will pay an additional ‘Pay-to-Play’ fee of £15.00 (£6 for Juniors) on top of the basic entry fee of £20.

The prize fund will be reduced if there are fewer than 45 players!
The place prizes will be awarded to the player scoring the most points. There will be no tie-breaks applied, and in the event of a tie, the prize money will be shared equally between all tied players.
Where there is a tie for a rating prize, the prize shall be won by the lowest-rated player involved in the tie.
Players allocated a rating of 0 are not eligible for rating prizes.
Where a player wins a place prize and a rating prize, the player will win whichever prize is of the higher value.
Woman and Junior prize will be awarded if there are min 3 players in each category.
